Your First Visit

Welcome to Noll Chiropractic!  In this section, we will help you learn what to expect during your first visit.

HOW LONG DO VISITS TAKE?

Initial consult, examination and/or treatment usually takes between 30-60 minutes. Follow up appointments usually take between 15 and 30 minutes depending on services performed.  

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING TO YOUR FIRST VISIT

  • ID
  • Insurance card
  • X-rays, MRI, CT reports or any other relevant information about your condition
  • Method of payment

First, our receptionist will welcome you and ask you to complete our required forms. These forms will provide us important health history and information about your condition. If you prefer, you can save time by downloading most of your forms  HERE and bring them with you to your first appointment.

 

Consult

A thorough history will be taken by asking specific questions about how your condition occurred, what makes your condition better or worse and how you would describe your symptoms.  It will also be important to review your past medical history such as high blood pressure, diabetes or other health conditions as they may affect how quickly one may heal.

Examination

After your consult, an orthopedic and neurologic examination will test your reflexes, muscle strength, range of motion and other tests to check the integrity of the nervous system at various levels of your spine. This information will help to determine if your condition is related to a disc, joint, nerve or muscle problem.  If necessary, Dr. Noll may prescribe other diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRI or CT.

Review of Findings

After the history, exam and/or x-rays are completed, Dr. Noll will review with you all of your findings explaining what your condition is and how it is causing your symptoms. If chiropractic can help you, Dr. Noll will discuss your treatment options. If chiropractic treatment is not recommended, he will recommend other healthcare options for you.
